Hello,
I just ordered a Moon Light for my 40 gal goldfish tank. I try to keep the day light duration for the fish tank similar to what it is in nature. In the evening when the main light goes off I have a big dark tank in my room and can't enjoy my fish. So I decided to get a Moon Light that will go on after the main day light goes off.
I haven't gotten it yet, but it suppose to give a moon like light where you can see the fish but the fish is not desturbed and can rest, as it is close to the nature's day/night cycle.
Does anyone has an experience with the Moon Light. Is there anything I need to know before I instull it?
Thanks

I heard of them, but I figured that since the fish don't have eye lids, they wouldn't want light on 24 hours a day even if it isn't bright.
But let us know how it works out!

Moon lights were designed for the salt water world since the salt water fish have a moon light effect on them in the ocean. as for using with goldfish it shouldn't bother them, but you have to remember even with salt water they need the light off for the majority of the night so they can sleep.
