The only caution I would put on a "tub" is to make sure that it is a strong sided one - the larger it is, the stronger the sides need to be. Water weighs approx. 8 pounds per gallon. That, pressing on the sides of a weak walled tub, can bow the tub out very far and may cause it to spill over the sides.
The other, perhaps even more important, thing to remember with tubs - they look bigger than they are....... a "huge" tub may only be 10 or 20 gallons. Read the label carefully, and measure the tub by filling it with a measured amount of water. The "volume" of the tub may not be as great as labeled for they may measure the tub to the very brim - something you cannot do. I have had friends that have put fish in "huge" tubs, only to discover when they finally measure them that they are substantially smaller than originally thought!
Tubs are a GREAT convenience. I have a set of them that I use to store my fish supplies most of the time, and use as emergency residences when necessary.
