I puchased a small 1" clown loach to control my red ramshorn snail population in the tropical tank... I just realized it may grow up to 12"

Will it reach max size even if my tropical aquarium is only 15g??? I also read it needs to be in groups, do you think it will turn psycho if left without other clow loaches???

If it outgrows the tank or harasses my cories I might have to take it back to the LFS. How could the size issue escape my attention <_<

They are very very slow growers, but i recomend a bigger tank for him when he is older, and they can live happily by themselves so long as u give them a cave....

but as for your snails, dont expect them to vannish right awa, they dont eat all that many of them, not at once !
