becuz by the time the bubble-eye reaches maturity...its bubble sacs will be HUGE and it will have trouble swimming to the top..

ive tried breeding mine until i found out they were all girls but i have one bubble eye left from a recent fluke crisis and im going to order a male off the internet and breed them cant wait!

it would also be hard to find the 'white spots' on the gills because the bubble sacs would cover it up most of the time

3 girls actually! what are the odds!? they did chase each other but not the way they do while breeding. theyre both pretty slow because of the sacs and they have the cutest waddle! i have pics of the bubble eyes somewhere. ill post them later. my friends bugging me on msn at the mo. lol! they are about 3" and theyre old enough to breed. im just waiting for my moor to make an advance on my bubble eye so i can raise the oddling fry!

Some fish stores have a freaking problem... they'll either only give you males or only females, cause they dont want you to breed your fishes, what @#$%ing as$holes

i managed to get a male black moor from the same place but never a male. every time i went there there were only female bubble eyes. how frustrating!

unless they sell the fish FULLY MATURED....

actually there are only 3 combinations for bubble-eyes
bubble-eye x bubble-eye
bubble-eye x celestial
bubble-eye x telescope/moor

the others comets, fantails, especially will be virtually impossible because they will find the eye sacs as food....before they even think about mating... :crp

I can't imagine a breeding of two bubble eyes. Here is what it would be like:

Male: I see two other bubbles! Its a female goldie!
Female: I cant see anything...
Male: CHASE CHASE CHASE!
Female: *ish hit* OUCH!
Male: Where are you?
Female: Must swim away! *is going as fast as she can*
Male: I can't see her! Oh well.

It's still possible they could breed. The bubble eye's veiw would be small but he/she could see she/he
