Hello,
I am new to asking questions online...but I have a pond of 3 years now that does very well. There are 6 goldfish(specifically outdoor goldfish). There are brought in an aquarium indoors in the winter as I live in Rochester, NY. Last year they did reproduce but none of them survived the move indoors. This year there are many more new fish and they see to be thriving. My question concerns one of the original fish...it seems very lazy almost "dormit". It stays motionless near a plant and only moves if I encourage it to. And returns to the same area after I move it. What is it doing? How long will it last? Why?

I live in Syracuse and will be bringing all 36 of my fish and all of my apple snails in for the winter as last year all of mine died due to the terrible winter we had. Do you have a place to isolate the fish? I have a 25 gallon indoor tank that I put my sick fish. Is the fish eating and pooping okay? Have you tested the water?
