I know you have probably been asked this type of question over and over again, but here it is again
I have a 66 gallon tank that has been set up for approx. six months. I have on it a AquaClear 200 and a Whisper 2 filter. I have sponges in the AquaClear and just the floss type media in the Whisper. No carbon.
My question is: Is this enough filtration for a 66 gallon tank that houses three small (2" - 2 1/2") goldfish, and three goldfish fry. The goldfish fry are the offspring of two of the fish in the tank :-) I removed some eggs when they spawned in the early summer and managed to raised three of them. They are now approx. 1" in length.
I do 25 - 35% water changes weekly, along with gravel vacs. The tank is heavily planted, also.
