I've been getting some plants for my guppy fry to hide in (from aquabid - thanks to whoever here had posted a link to that!). I settled on Duckweed to start things off with. The seller mentioned that some fish like to eat this plant. If it's safe for Bubbles, I'd like to add some to her tank. If she eats it, that's okay too (just more variety in her diet!). I just wanted to make sure it was safe before I added it.
Thoughts?

As long as you QT it and possibly soak it you should be fine..it multiplies like mad so Bubbles will have plenty to eat..I have in my outdoor pond so it can compete with the floating algae I have

Thanks, PondCometer.

I think I'm good on Duckweed then... I ordered a cup full from one guy and 2000+ from another... Maybe I got in over my head!!

I hope Bubbles is hungry!!

That is a cool looking plant. It does look like it can take over though.
Thanks, Bubblesowner.

It's been a busy weekend here... but do I recall seeing a post saying you lived close to me?

If this plant really grows like crazy and I end up with an over abundance, you're free to come and get some (no charge!) if you want it.

Cool, that is very nice of you. Keep me posted and yes I'm about 50 miles south of you (depending on where you are at in Troy).
