Well my uncle has a goldfish tank with two feeder goldfish that he has had for maybe 3 years..they have grown in size and are very "tough" he recently added a pleco and the next day he found the bones of the pleco and nothing left..one of his feeders was very plump almost as if he/she was pregnant..today he was no longer as plump..possible pleco killer? :crp

Whoa! That's a cool story. Hmm...pleco skin is sorta leathery and very stiff. I don't know if goldfish lips could suck all that flesh overnight. Bones? Stripped to bones or just half eaten? If that story is indeed true...then i guess goldies are in for a revenge on those mean plecos.

I dont know if it was stripped or half eaten but my uncle found the head and a few bones from the body..Revenge of The Feeder Part II tongue.gif

I can't imagine goldfish eating the pleco, simply because those guys, besides their leathery skin, do have a very spicky dorsal fin, and thats kind of hard to munch down.
Could it be that the pleco somehow got caught on the intake tube of the filter, and hurt there, and that the goldfish just sort of nibbled the leftovers away?...unsure.gif
