Hello.
I'm looking to build a trickle tower type filter for a 100 gallon stock tank. I will have a 5 gallon bucket with bio media in it. It will be 2 feet off the bottom of the tank. I'm wondering how many times per hour everyone thinks the water needs to be pumped through the biotower. Tradition on the internet indicates 1000 g/h, but that just seems so fast for a 5-gallon bucket. Maybe I need a bigger "tower". Anyway, if this makes sense, please feel free to give me your input. Thanks a bunch.

BTW- I am using 1/4 inch pvc cut in 1 foot lengths. I read about it in a paper I read about reciruclating systems that use extruded media similar to pvc because it's verticle and can't become plugged. so I'm gonna get as many pieces of 1/4 inch pvc as I can into the 5 gallon bucket. So yeah.
