I finally got my 33 gallon tank and it's big biggrin.gif It came with a eclipse hood even. It was a starter kit so it had everything. It came with an under gravel filter, so I'm wondering what would be good for filtration. Help and any other advice would be greatly appreciated smile.gif

I would run the Eclipse hood and then if you can find a canister filter system or a submersible filter for that system. Don't us the UGF those things if your not on top of it will cause allot of problems....sad.gif

I run my 29 gal eclipse tank with two goldfish in there and do a 50% water change every week on it and its pretty stable.

This tank you don't want to ever replace the bio wheel, and only change out the filter once a month. When you do a water change take the filter pad out of the tank and rinse with tank water, but all hit the filter with the black side down on the side of a sink this will loosen the stuff inside of the filter pad, then rinse again biggrin.gif

Lights in this tank should be replace when they go out, but if you want live plants you should change them at least once a year biggrin.gif

A Fluval of a 204 would work good for that tank and don't cost that much. I personally like the Eheim but they are costly ohmy.gif

If you can you should order on line much cheaper that way Hun biggrin.gif
