The cap on my black oranda(Moby) has turned white. Does anyone have any idea why this could happen? If so what do I do? Its been this way for over 2 months. He appears to be healthy but something is obviously wrong.

Hi James, and welcometo.jpg!
How exactly does the white look - cottony, flaky, or the headgrowth just being suddenly white with no other symptoms?
How big is your black fish? Black in general is a very hard to keep color in goldfish, except in a calico fish, and its quite normal for a black fish to turn color sometime in his life, especially if its a smaller fish.
To help you out a bit more, there is a big red box on top of this page. Can you try to answer as many questions as you possibly can?
A picture would help greatly as well. You can email it to me at RAJ-Pecher@msn.com, and I can post it for you.....smile.gif
