Yesterday I bought 2 more snails. Another little blue and a large wild. The wild is bigger than a golf ball and the blue is a little smaller than a dime. Im kind of wondering if the wild is a cana but a friend borrowed my camera so no pics until the end of the week. I went to applesnail.net to look at the shell types and he could be both. I named him Mr. Happy Snail (he NEVER goes in his shell) and the blue is nameless.

Congratulations, Nykole!! I never heard of the bigger species, but I do looooove blue ones. There are some nice ones on Auqabid right now, and I hope I can get 3 of them......

Sounds very much like a Cana hun...the clues are size and freindliness..I so wish we had these in the UK...we have Brigs of the golden colour by the thousands you are so lucky to have so much choice..Looking forward to seeing your new babys..Linda
PS Mr Happy is a lovely name for a snail.
