lately 2 fish in my 55 gal. tank have been hanging around at the top of the tank tipping sideways occasionally, and one of them only has 1 pectoral fin so i figured he just needed rest time and cant hold himself upright all the time, but my oranda is fine, and he looks like hes really struggling to keep himself upright while swimming lately, and his tummy looks rather large. nothing else is physically wrong with him, and i fed them peas tonight, which he ate quite a few of. he is the resident piggy of the tank, eating more than his share of pellets.. should i fast the whole tank for a few days? or something else? any advice would be greatly appreciated smile.gif

Fasting for a few days and a round of peas afterward
won't hurt at all. smile.gif How are the nitrAtes in your
tank? If those are outta whack, that may contribute
to the problem as well. ohmy.gif

How's the poo from your piggy fish?
