Ive never bread gf before... i was wondering
1. Do u need live plants for your fish to lay eggs in?
2. What ph level and temperature?
3. Does age matter?
4. And anything you would like to add biggrin.gif

1. yes you do need live plants for the fish to lay their eggs in, they should be bushy plants too.

2. the ph depends on what fish they are. if you have normal g/f they can thrive in a relitavely high ph but shubs are more picky.

3. ideally the fish should be 3 years+ to breed. they might try before this but they are not sexually mature and will not have any luck. rofl3.gif

I found plenty of websites that has plenty of breeding info!
Some even have pictures. The websites are:

http://www.animalsoup.net/aquaria/goldfish...h/breeding.html
http://www.bristol-aquarists.org.uk/goldfi...fo/breeding.htm
http://www.geocities.com/adams_goldfish101...1/breeding.html

These might help!
