How is your little guy doing??? any change?
abby'smom
No, no change yet, hun. He's still eating, so that's good. Tomorrow is the last day of his Fungus clear med, so I'll be changing his water and start treating with the Maracyn 2. Sounds like that's a better treatment so we'll see from there. Thanks for asking! heartpump.gif

That's ok, Sharon, I knew you were working! I have been keeping his tank light on to try and keep him warm. I don't have a thermometer on his tank, but I can tell it's deffinately warmer than Bruiser's water. Tomorrow, I start the Maracyn. Do I use both Maracyn and Maracyn 2 at the same time?

Well, Bo's still with me. I just looked back in the posts and he's been like this for about 10 days so far. It seems like so much longer than that to me. Though he's doing pretty well considering, I'm getting very frustrated! How long can this go on with no change? I think I've done everything I can. Fasting, peas, dahnia, clean water, epsom salt, Jungle meds, and now Maracyn 2. He's not through with the Maracyn 2 treatment yet, but still no change in his appearence. Am I expecting too much too soon? huh.gif
I notice a dark curved line on his left side behind his pectoral fin today. Any ideas what this could be?His skin and scales are stretched so thin that he's almost transparent! But the line looks way too dark to possibly be vein ( if, in fact, they'd be big enough to even see idont.gif ). His back is looking a bit hunched, also lately.
Overall, I have to say that he doesn't look like he's suffering. He begs for food, swims around ( less than normal, but not lethargicaly). Even flares every now an then.
So I ask the experts, once again. What do you think?
Thanks so much
Erin
