Okay, so I was walking through the pet store and I saw this huge snail scarfing down an entire stalk of an underwater fern... and I was like " that is sooooooo awesome!" and I just had to have him... well I took him home and added him to my three goldfish and they have slowly disappeared... they were fine, not sick or anything...... there is absolutely NO way in Hades they could have jumped put, and that leaves but one option.... but I thought apple snails ate only dead fish?

They will eat small fish that don't move, because they look to them like dead fish. Possibly your fish were asleep?

I don't know.... I guess I just need bigger fish (shrugs)

Sounds like you have a Cana but I have never heard of any of them eating fish before they are peacefull gentle creatures..who are likely to get picked on by fish not the other way round..yikes hop on to applesnail.net and ask the good folk there..there are lots of experianced Cana owners..may I ask what you were feeding it on and how big was it??..I had heard they had huge appitites but sheash
