I think it is about time that we moved up from our two...modest filters tongue.gif They have always done an 'ok' job, but I know there is room for improvement. I also know that filters can get expensive! Any ideas? biggrin.gif

Try the eihem canister filters, they are expensive but worth your while from what other members say on the board. If you wan't you could try a fluval canister filter, aren't as expensive but aren't as good, they still get the job done. Remember you wan't 10 times filtration for goldfish because their so messy. You have a 75 gallon tank, you need enough filters so you can filter 700-750 gallons an hour smile.gif

the eheim 2126 or the rena xp3 are great cannisters filters. they are easy to maitain and clean. also i'd put a ac300 or ac500 hob filter like the cannisters they are easy to maitain. with both type of filters you can use different media to soot your needs. and you can alternate cleaning to keep your good bios
