I am looking into buying another tank, and am open to new or used, something between 30-45 gallons, including hood and stand. I am not picky as to the look of the stand, or what type, and don't want to spend and arm and a leg. What are good prices as far as new or used tanks in this range? and does anyone know of a place to get good deals in the FairfaxVA, DC area?

Hi I can't help you specifically for your area but Ebay is quite often a good place in the UK to buy cheaper new & second hand tanks.

B) Well the petsmarts here in N.J. have a 55 gallon with full hood and lighting for $ 99.99. And then you could buy a metal stand for a 55 for about $70.00. Total of $169.00,not bad. Plus with the metal stand you could put another tank on the bottom.

That really is cheap. I only got a 29 gallon for $95 and that was at nnnnnn. It came with a few excessories but thats about it. the stand for the tank was $85. Man prices must be cheap in N.J.
