Hi all!
One of the bulbs from my compact fluorescent fixture went out and I'm not sure if the bulb burned out or if there's something wrong with the fixture. Anyways, tonight I attempted to remove the offending bulb and see if one of the other bulbs would work in its spot. Is it just me or are these things incredibly difficult to remove? I couldn't find my instruction manual and coralife's website was no help so I don't know if there's some trick to this or if I just need to eat more spinach.

.
Any of you more experienced people have some ideas?
Thanks!

you hold each end of the bulb, at the silver part, and turn it away from you or toward you, until it is "unlocked". i dont' know if this makes sense, but you will understand once you do it. there is a locking mechanism that clips over the pin, so the bulb doesnt slip out. if you turn the bulb, the entire bulb, from both ends away from you, if you look in the little slot where the pins would extend, eventually you can see that they are free.

Okay Hun I have two of those things and yep its not the easiest in the world

First thing is to take the rubber band things off most likely they will break but don't worry

Then you need to slide off the glass piece on the lighting. Then hold one hand on the black pug piece and then gentle wiggle back and forth and it will unplug Hun......Not the easiest thing to do but I have done it twice now.
Oh and make sure its off
