Well they were actually smaller then i thought, two of them are 1 gallons and
one of them is a 3 gallon do you think i could put a betta in a 1 gallon tank?
or is it to small for them? this is really breaking my rule 3 gallons per betta Thud.gif:

I have bettas that are in one gallon bowls and most all of my kids that I've had in the past have lived to three years. I don't put air stones or anything but I clean them once a week with totally fresh water.

I have Indi in a 1 gallon, but I have only had him for 2 weeks. I do a complete water change once a week and a 50% once a week. No airstones or filtration.

smile.gif i guess ill be getting a new betta then!
I saw this dark green and black one i liked oh and this light purple and
white one was also nice.
For my 3 gallon i have my other betta in for now since his 5 gallon is being used for a hospital tank.
The other 1 gallon is going to be my newt tank, (kinda salamander these guys are so cute)
And the other 1 gallon will be for 1 betta and 4 African dwarf frogs the 3 gallon will also have some ghost shrimp in it.

Lachfa, I was reading your fish's names and this is funny but I have a Koi named Goldie, a comet named Angel, a common named Sherbert, and a red betta named Flame. I have others too but I thought it was funny to have so many names in common. LOL wav.gif

rofl3.gif Sush that is funny and the fish are the same too! Martinez just made me name the 4 that have no names....I need to change that!

I have three bettas in three l gallon bowls. I am thinking of going larger, but for now they are all healthy, happy and terrific. I have had them only about two weeks. They eat well and swim alot and are very frienldy with me - even the one I call Shyblue is coming around to be friendlier and NOTHING keeps him from the food rofl3.gif. Redman and Jazz love the attention when I approach the bowl and talk to them heartpump.gif.

spit.gif Oh yeah, I forgot to say that I do a complete water change every 6 days. Otherwise the water gets too yucky tongue.gif Anyway, with that they are doing great. So, go for a new betta if you haven't already. Have you????????

I started off with a 1 gallon for Betta Boy, he liked it there, it was alot better than the wine glass sized vase they had him in at the lfs.
