I've got a 30 gallon with the hood and flourescent light... how would you guys price this? I really have no idea....

I purchased a brand new 30 gallon tank, stand and light for $139 US. I then got a used 30 gallon tank, homeade stand and light for $60 US. So I guess 60 is an okay price, but it depends on the shape the tank is in.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

$50-60 sounds fair for a used tank/hood/light.
If your looking to make money off it to get a bigger tank, then you might want to go into the $70-80 range.

I would also say that it depends on how good the quality it was made in. For example, my 30 Gallon Oceanic has a real, maple wood frame on the top and bottom. The stand was a well built to, and I got the tank for $80 and the stand for $125 (Yes, the stand price upset me, but I couldn't do anything). I have been really happy with them.

So I'd say that if it is a nice tank, give it $10-$15 more dollars. So I'd say about $75 would be good for that price.

Okay, thanks guys . I've already got he new tank LOL, just have to put this one in the paper. I'm thinking $60, see how it goes.
