Ok for feeding my snails i wil boil some lettuce and feed them at night... the reason im boiling the lettuce is so its easier to eat and it sinks to the bottom of the tank..
if i was too bowl a whole bunch of lettuce on one day...could i store it in the fridge and just take what i need from it each day??? if so, how many days can it stay in the fridge??
Thanks:)

I feed mine lettuce all the time.... not iceberg lettuce, cuz it's not as nutritous. I feed her Romaine lettuce. It's in a bunch that's about the size of a football. I wouldn't boil it though, just like many other veggies, boiling takes out much of the nutrients, and it isn't a healthy. If you're worried about the snail not being able to get it, you can always weigh it down with a rock, or use a veggie clip!

yes you could do that but it would last only a few days. i wouldnt boil your lettec or any vegies that are fed to fish for nutritious reasons beacause boiling takes all the nutriants out of the food. steaming dosnt.

Boiling does make it easier to eat (i feed my tadpoles boiled lettus) and i put then in an ice cube tray filled with water from the pond/tank and then i just drop in an ice cube every now and then.
