in my pond their is 3 specis of snail, apple snail, physa acuta, and ramshorn and i have found to types of egg cases i am thinking they are snails. i already no wat physa acuta eggs are like and this isn't it.
okay the first one i found underwater i didn't no what it was so i peeled it off. ti was a clear disk with bright orange balls in it the egg case was about 1 cm long and .5 cm wide and it was a oval. it was underwater stuck to the pond liner on the ledge.
the 2nd one i am not sure even if it is snail. it is like a clear ballon upside down with tons of clear brown dots it is hanging by what look like white slime and 1 in under the water. it is about .5 cm long and .25 wide and it looks like a ballon

It looks like the first batch of eggs sound and look like they could be just everyday pond snail eggs. The 2nd batch looks and sounds more like frog eggs. Apple snails lay their eggs above the water as I believe Ramshorn snails also do (could be wrong though since none of mine have that I know of). Good luck.
