My Mom wants me to get a bottom-feeder for my aquarium. I do not think so, I clean regularley and still would if I did have a bottom feeder, 'to clean up all the food' she says. My experience with bottom feeder's hasn't been great either, once I had a little cat-fish looking bottom feeder that was pure black with a birght orange tail and since he was a tropical kind he did not last long, poor thing sad.gif

So what I was asking was, does anyone think I should/could get one?

What you had was a red tail shark. Those are alittle bit on the hard side of keeping.

Well my first question for you is what kind of fish are in there ?

I have goldfish in the aquarium, nothing else.

Well since it is a goldfish tank, the red tail shark wouldnt work in that tank, they need heat biggrin.gif

So I would only suggest a Dojo for that job with goldfish biggrin.gif

i too would go with the dojo loach, and/or a hillstream loach or 2.
