OK...I think you all know about how I've been gong through various ways to feed my snails... Well I've come up with one...a jar submerged inside teh tank...

I just place lettuce in there and the lettuce never gets out of it (neither does the snail poo) The snails go in and out when they please munching or just resting in the jar. The only problem is...

My fish seems to think the jar is like a "business meeting"...My comet just sits in the jar with the two snails munchig on some lettuce... when he's done he does a full back flip out of the jar... The reason I called it a problem because would this at all hurt the fish??? He's doing it alot and he doesn't seem to mind...

I have pictures of the jar itself in the tank... The fish getting in the jar, the fish flipping round to go out of teh jar and then the fish leaving the jar lol

haha thanks... I dunno bout millionaire but I am always thinking of ideas... The main reason I've been thinking so much is cuz I'm going to Lebanon the whole summer and leaving the fish at a friends... He's not knowledgable in fish so I'm trying to come up with the easiest way possible to: feed, clean etc for the fish and snails...The jar is realy easy to clean... All i do is put a net under it and tip it over so all the food and poo stays in the net and the water goes back in the tank lol...

I would have a very hard time leaving my pets in the care of someone else for a week ,let alone a summer,I can't blame you at all for trying to make it easy on your friend.The easier things are,the more chances of your friend following through with them.You're a genious ,make him a video of you doing a step by step "Caring of the goldies" video!

Awww.those hampsters are so pretty, I have 1 myself, LOL my son lets him play with his toy tank. And I got a picture of him in It, Im gonna try to post it for you all to see, It is the cuetest.And for yoru snail eating in the jar thing, Thats the coolest, I just put my lettuce left in and anchor it with a big river rock. My fish seem to not care for it. LOL but your fish going in to snag some is hilarious!!!!!!Good luck with your summer away*fishes and all*...
