theer are little holes in my comets dorsal fin... is he developing fin rot again after recovering from it?? or is this from stress? or maybe getting cut my plastic plants and ornaments??? teh params are perfect so thats not the case... the water is cold could that do it??? he's a cold water fish anyways so it shouldnt effect him right?

any replies would be great!!!

that's sign of fin rot or something is attacking it.. unlikely wounded by ornaments.. check the water parameter.. and do change water frequently to keep the water safe (not just clean).. Clean water is deceiving..

for now, change water, add some salt of 0.1% concentration (1 teaspoon per gallon of water) and reduce feeding till it recover..

but there again, if there are ornaments in the tank, consider the safety of the fish whether does these ornaments pose any danger to it..

Fish lice can leave holes..... have you ever seen some alien looking round green bugs in your tank?
