What are some good brands of water test kits?

Aquarium Pharmaceuticals are very good. All the tests are sold seperately, they run about $6 to $10 and (depending on which test) they are good for 75 to 200 uses (well over a year of weekly tests).

These tests all have test tubes and chemicals and color charts, but are not difficult to use or interpret. I think they are some of the most accurate as well and.

I just got the Red Sea Freshwater Master Test kit. It has ammonia, nitrite, high and standard range pH, Chlorine, CO2, GH/KH, and iron. The pH tests are far easier to read than the standard or high range AP pH test kits!I also have the AP test kits which I like as well. My only problem like I said is with their pH tests and also the nitrate test can get hard to read when it gets up to the 80 ppm. I still think theyre a good value though. But for a bit more advanced people who want to test more, I really recommend the Red Sea kit. smile.gif
