My Ranchu is in hospital tank for a week after a tail rot and now she lay out white ball (egg) with blood on it. When I hold her on my hand, all her "eggs" or white ball came out with blood on it.

Are my Ranchu breeding or sick? Please advice!

How old is your Ranchu?? it might be to young to lay eggs and now its getting egg bound

How big is her stomach? If it is more big and round than usual, it could be possible that those are eggs that you are seeing. You don't have to worry about babies if there is no male in the tank with her though. biggrin.gif

My ranchu is 4.5 inches long and no idea how old she is. I am not worry about baby, but bleeding!

Bleeding of any kind is not good. Depending on the water quality of the hospital tank, an infection could develop. To keep that from happening, monitor the water daily. Add a water treatment chemical that will aid the fish to fight off infection. Make sure pH is kept on the high side (7.5 - 8.0). A higher pH will help the fish to maintain a heavy slim coat to ward off bacteria and parasites.

You are right in not to worry about her eggs. Her recovery is more important now.

Good luck and let us know how she is recovering.
