I was hoping someone could tell me what they put under their tanks to help cushion and take stress off the glass. I remember reading a post about this but I can’t seem to find it with the search engine. I went to Home Depot but did not find anything I thought would work.

Styrofoam Works.

LFS that sell u the tank should provide you with the foam for free!! it should be cut to size as well...

most importantly, styrofoam is soft, absorb impact and allow tank to sit in thus allowing no gap in between...

The LFS gave me a 1/2 inch thick styrofoam with my tank but then i got replaced it with a better 1inch thick styrofoam to give me more cushion.

Carpet underlay works very well. (The thin foam rubber type).
