good? or no?

All I can say about the Whisper line is try and not fall into the trappings of listening to the company tell you to change (and buy) a new filter every month or whatever they recommend.

a. The filters can be vigorously rinsed off in a bucket of old tank water on a weekly basis.
b. This keeps the bio-bugs going.

What size tank and what's your stock level? From what I gather on the web, a Whisper 40 is appropriate for a twenty gallon goldfish tank. Two goldies max.
