Harry whom i had the trouble with last week, now seems to have small white rings on the underside of his eyes. I don't know whether they have always been there but i've only just noticed. Is this normal for a black moore or is he now in he beginning stages of popeye.

I don't seem to be having any luck with this fish. water parametres are normal and i salted the tank last week.

Are your moor's eyes protruding noticeably more than they used to? If they are protruding then popeye is very likely, but if they aren't then he probably doesn't have it.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I haven't had a chance to check the forum.
I think I was over reacting. He's fine. The eyes are more than likely normal. He's been behaving and feeling perfectly.

Geez I think all new fish keepers should be issued with a 6 month supply of prozac when they buy their first fishies. I am constantly on the look out for sickness, convinced that I've done something wrong
