It really depends on the individual fish. Try it, and see how she does, but be prepared to remove her at the first sign of trouble.

Hi,if your guppies have those long flowing fins,I would not attempt it.Bettas tend to get a little cranky with anyone that tries to look as pretty as them! They could resort toviolence!!!

i doubt that it would work. female bettas often are very aggressive with other females -especially if they weren't raised together. i wouldn't recommend it. but if you are going to be concious about it and can remove one or the other easily and quickly, if you want, try to put them together for like 15-20 minutes, see what happens, and then report to us, that would be nice though

Yes, I recommend picking a day that you are going to be home all day, and try putting them together, and watch them like a hawk. A little chasing is OK, but any out and out physical violence, and they will have to be separated.
I keep a tank with 7 female bettas and they all get along great. It is a very pretty tank with all of the different colours.

Yeah a bit of chasing to suss out territory is okay, even fin nipping is pretty normal. Brutal consistant attacking is not okay..
Remeber endlers aren't as flashy as guppies, and I usually find that bettas realize quickly that livebearers are just too stupid to waste their time on

lol ~ ah i see~ is the betta a snob? well, i dont have one ( a female betta ) was just wondering and after i post , i always think - why didnt i go read past posts before typing~ i guess i am impatient. No, endlers dont have the "flashy " tails like male guppys but the males are quite colorful - just dont have the finnage - thats why i was wondering if a female betta could stay in there with em - but also the endlers stay pretty small so i didnt know if the betta would eat em......guess i wont experiment with that at present lol thanks for the replies though
