I treat my water with NovAqua along with the Amquel, and I was reading the back of the bottle, and it says that it also removes heavy metals. Does this mean that meds that have copper in them will be useless?

i know that adding amquel ontop of rid ich meds does infact negate the medicine ingredient, you have to mix it to the water, then add new water not just dump the amquel into the tank. does that make sense?
