the move went well, everyone is happy and I believe the comets are breeding. The water in the ponds is warmer than it was in their tubs and they have been chasing one poor fish around like crazy.

The Shubunkins have been chasing each other around also. I don't want to move the other fancy goldfish until the temps stop fluctuating so much. The snails aren't out yet either.

That change in water temp certainly kicked um into high gear! Sounds like all is well at your place and that is great! I am thinking about putting my two pond comets in the pond this year as well. I'll wait until everyone is in better health though.

Nope and I'm not sure I want them now. I have 40 fish as it is (I gave some away to a friend). I really don't have the capabilities to take care of fry anyway.

I've had a few make it, not sure how many. That was back when all I had was comets and had so many I would never count them all. I just know there were really small ones from time to time....so I figure someone was doing something in there. rofl3.gif I'm still looking for the baby my daughter claims to have seen. huh.gif

biggrin.gif i have a feeling that it could be mateing, but nothing
really to worry about i would just keep a close eye on them
just incase that they do end up haveing fry.
Great job,it sounds like so much fun haveing a pond, i can't wait to
build my own.

It is so much fun having a pond. I really enjoy it. I can't believe how much I like it and how much I've learned since starting it 3 years ago.
