I have gravel. It is a mixture of browns, gray and some white. I love it. I think it is very natrual looking.

In my 55 gallon I changed mine from purple and blue gravel to to polished river rock. My daughter's 10 gallon has blue gravel.

I have some small river rocks and would like to get more. I really don't want gravel.

But I will add a background and some plants in pots. I just set this tank up last Wednesday.

Wyunkin, Congrats on your new tank. It looks huge!
I just switched to river rocks (did have blue gravel) and I like it a lot. My fishies are afraid of the bare tank bottom. If I was going to go with a bare tank bottom I would have to put something dark underneath it. I really like the river rocks though, and the goldies like to rummage in-between them all day.

I bought my river rocks a little at a time, I got them in the craft section at WM. They come in 2 different sizes and I bought a few bags everytime I went shopping so it didn't seem like it cost so much!

I have some polished river rocks, and some blue, green, and clear rocks that look like gem's or whatever...it's pretty, and gives the fishies something to play with

i like the aztec gravel...looks really natural not quite sand or dirt looking, but the color seems more life like for a aqua setting

I also have river rocks and other polished stones in my tank.

I have six or so pink quartz and other interesting colored rocks - about 4-6 inches in diameter scattered on the bottom randomly. The bottom is basically bare, with only the stones and some plants to break it up.

I just switched from a medium sized natural colored gravel to all black small gravel. My background is a really dark blue (almost black) and my tank looks great now. The dark colors really make my baby's orange/gold colors stand out.
Woo!

I put "no" because I don't have any rocks or pebbles but I do have a small gravel plant substrate (flourite) in both my tanks -- though I'm not sure if I should have voted for "yes" because gravel is rock I suppose!

Other than that I just have driftwood and plants.
