Well some of you might remember when I posted about my pond comets laying some unexpected eggs while I had them out of the pond..my first attempt the fry perished exact reasons I dont know but I've read lots on KoKos (much thanks to all) and I'm ready to start again..I have a 10 gallon tank, with a sponge filter and large airstone does this sound like a good setup? 75 degrees F sound good? Now my question is..what to do with un-fertilized eggs? How long should I wait b4 I start doing water changes and last but not least after eggs are layed should I keep sponge filter and airstone running just at a lower setting? Thanks for all the help guys wav.gif

its best to do small to frequent water changes
this is because the frys need very good condition
but at the same time they cant cope with huge
water changes because it will stress them
you should remove unfertilised eggs (the one with fungus on them)
because they spread to the others eggs
also i would have a lower setting for the filter and airstone
because when the fry hatch they will weak and might
get sucked into the filter
make sure that there isnt a strong current in your tank
