I got some of the Kio Clay and used it in my ponds, but how much do I use in a 55gal, 75gal, and three 10gals tanks? The bottle told me about the ponds, but not the tanks. Thud.gif Can anyone tell me how much and how often?

Hi Lynn! THe good thing with koi clay is, you hardly can overdose with that stuff, and you only need a tiny bit for a tank, the dosage on the container is usually for larger ponds. I usually ad 1 tsp to my 100 gl and above tanks, while doing a bit less for the smaller ones, and 1/2 tsp for the 30 and under. For smaller tanks that package should last you a whole lifetime, and then some! lol.GIF

The box says to use twice weekly, so I should put appox a 1/2 teaspoon in the ten gals. and one teaspoon in the 55 and 75 gal tanks once or twice a week? Would it be better to use it after each water change, just once a week? I also used it in the ponds and what diffrents it made with my kois. ohmy.gif Man have they grown! hah.gif
