Phoenixx, those are some neat pictures!! Do you breed them professionally? It looks like you are keeping the eggs in water, did I see that right? My black mystery snail layed eggs above the water surface on April 22nd this year, and I took the whole hardened bunch out and put it in a glass container with the same water and the same position they were in the main tank. Nothing happpened since then, and when I broke the cluster apart, no baby snails....Did I do something wrong?

Hi Ranchu
Thats not my web site...I have it in my faves from someone who posted it on applesnail.net...I wish they were mine LOL...I havent even had a clutch from my lot yet
I have been reading a lot about breeding snails and have everything ready for the event..I have heard that you scrape the eggs off with a credit card and put them in a tupperware container on damp kitchen roll keeping in a warm place..moist but not wet..they may need a ocasional water spray..there are many different ways to do it...some float them on the top of the tank on polystyrene and some people make hamocks from old ladies hair nets over the side of the tank...keeping them away from the eager mouths of the fish LOL...Linda
