I've now added four small (they'll grow!) Clown Loaches, and six Red Phanton Tetras to the community tank.
Real characters are already beginning to show themselves in there!

This looks like a mirror image, but in fact it's both of my Kissing Gouramis next to each other!

And finally - these are 3 of the Red Phantoms, with a Clown Loach frolicking (do they frolick? This one sure does!)..

vvv nice m8, you might want to put something like a stocking covering the slits on the breeding trap, the gouramis will be able to suck the babies through the holes !

Yeah, it's bang-on a 30g! Not the largest of community tanks I know, but once again, I've gone wildly over the top with filtration, and I already have plans for moving fish to other homes if they get too large for this one! Once I've moved house, there should be room for a 100g community tank - and that is where I STOP!
Plus, the rules are slightly different for tropicals, and they are nowhere near as dirty(not a nice word to describe it) as goldfish!

30g is a great size community tank, by my rules, you could have 30 inches of trop fish in there

My only tropical tank is 15 gallons,so you have a big enough
tropicals tank.
I wouldn't call goldfish dirty fish, but you can say they are
pretty messy fish.
If im not mistaken the rules for tropical fish is by inches?

Nice set -up by the way! I have always kept tropicals, and I love them ! There are just so many to choose from, and they're all so different looking!
