The smornin when I woke up I fed my fish like I always do.I have two ranchus,a 2-3in calico, and a 1-2in oranga.I'm not sure on the gender yet.I noticed the calico wouldn't get out of the oranga[sushine]'s reer biggrin.gif .Could it be taritory or is it "that time of year"?!I was wondering because if "it" could be I will put them in a ten gal.For a bit.I'll be whatching the sunshine to see if wieght seems to change.
Do you guys think the calico Gulliver is a male and Sunshine is a female.I can't tell yet cause I'm a beginner and I don't see the tubercal[I think I spelt it right]spots on the fin or gills[wen] area.
Should I put them in a seperate tank or no?! wink.gif

i think they could breed soon
but you wouldnt seperate them until your sure they
are a pair
you will know that they are a pair if they constantly chase each other
not just for a few seconds but for hours on end
that would be the best time to seperate them wink.gif

The chase is on.I noticed once again he chased her.It wasn't hours on end though and it wasn't just a few seconds either.I hope it turns out there male/female
