I just addes all the plants last friday. At that point water was still a little cloudy and 52 derees. It is now crystal clearn and 73 degrees. It just amazes me that plants clear it up so fast.

Lachfa, I managed to get my 8 Koi and 4 of the comets into the pond yesterday. Boy are they happy! It cooled down so I don't want to put the fancies out their yet.

I would hate moving all those fish - it scares me. I had a little calico fantail in my pond that I didn't know was there, I brought him in yesterday and put him in the tank with the other calicos and moors. I didn't QT him because he is my fish already - hope nothing goes wrong! He seems to be doing well, eating and fitting right in. I thought the others might pick on him since he is smaller. I took this yesterday of the pond. My flowers are all blooming. Don't look at the grass - it needs mowed!

The pond looks great. None of my flowers are blooming yet but it looks good. I'll try to get some pictures this weekend. We've been mowing our lawn every 3 days. Ugh!

I had been mowing on Wednesday, but then it was too tall by the weekend, so I put it off until Thursday, and it rained, that is why it was so tall. I have it cut now. It could be cut every three days, but I don't have them time. I have an acre of good yard, and about 1/4 acre I am getting under control, another 1/4 acre that is really rough and hard to mow and 1/2 acre I just let grow up in the woods.

Your yard sounds like mine. We have wood in the back that about once a month my husband will weed wack just to keep the weeks from totally taking over.

Believe me, he'd drive you crazy. I ask him not to weed wack around the pond and he does anyway.

Then I have to get all sorts of junk out of the pond from him doing it.
