today, after doing an emergency overhaul waterdhange on both of my goldy tanks, I came home to find that all of my fry were dead. I think that I must have forgotten the water conditioner and amquel, which i usually use to treat the water during the change, and have never had any problems before now. I know I treated the top tank(parents tank), and they are alive and looking well, but all my babies are gone.
It was terrible, they had made it through so long and some were nearly the size of the smaller goldies in the pet store. It would have been their three month birthday this friday. cry3.gif

Wow, thats a really sad thing, that happened!! Sorry to hear that!
Unfortunately, things sometimes happen, and it makes us only better prepared for the next time...And I am sure there is a next time! smile.gif
Maybe you didn't forget the water conditioner. Fry can be stressed by all kinds of things, even a oh so slight difference in pH, for example. Sometimes we just never know....smile.gif
