i am seting up a tank with java ferns i have attached the ferns to some driftwood and lava rock with string. what i was wondering is how long does it take for the ferns to fully attach to the rocks/wood, and is there anything i can do which would speed it up?

In my experience, it takes a few months for Java Ferns to root themselves, and I haven't yet found a way of speeding up this process... if you do, then please tell me!
