I was cleaning out my rosy barb tank last weekend and found a teensy baby barb. There were no others. I can't believe the parents didn't eat him! He couldn't have been more than a sixteenth of an inch long. I named him Lucky

I put him into a fry trap and had to put him into one of my goldie tanks because I needed to start treating the barb tank for popeye (which is gone now) and he's thriving! He's doubled in size, but at an eighth of an inch long, he's still the tiniest fish I've ever had. He'll go back into the barb tank sometime this week when I clear the meds out of it. So today is Lucky's one week birthday.

I know he isn't a goldie, sigh, but I'm still excited.

That is neat to see how God so carefully designed fish to reprouduce after their own kind. Revelation 4:11 says"Thou art worthy, O Lord, to recieve glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created". So we need to look not only at the fish that bore it but also the Creator.
