Here are the new pictures I took yesterday. There is not much change from last years since I haven't done anything this spring other than add a few plants that are not up yet. My cats were checking those neat things in the water out (fish), the black one knows to leave them alone, the other one is learning, he had his first swimming lesson the other day.....

The black cat has never bothered the fish - I have had him for over a year and he has been outside most of his life. The smaller one is learning the pond is a dangerous place - you go swimming if you get that "I'm going to catch a fish" look. The little guy stays inside most of the time when I am not home. And the fish don't come to the top when anything is around the pond. I am not to worried about them getting the fish - hope I don't have to eat my words....

Lachfa, I had a neighborhood cat that was stalking my fish for a while until it tried to step on the pond (must have thought that is was solid ground) and in doing so fell in!! It was the funniest thing and the cat has never come back.

Oh how funny that would have been to catch on video! I'll bet he didn't come back.

I think my cats are to leary of the water to put a pay in it.

Very nice pond Lachfa!!!! I've wanted one allof my life,,,My yard is very long and narrow and flat so unless I would do some kind of river ,it just isnt big enough for what I want to do Oh well,'Ill just have to make do with a popup pond on the patio for now,and enjoy everyone elses pics! Nice job-looks great! How big is it?
