About 10 minutes ago I just noticed something swimming around in the tank furiously. I have no idea what it is and I have no idea what new fry look like.

I have separated it into a small bowl as I was afraid of my fish eating it. I cannot see any more in the tank.

It looks like a light brown tiny very tiny worm/fish.. AHHH i don't know. But it's wiggling around like crazy and swimming quickly like a fish. However it's also 'whipping' it's tail end around like a bug.

I just don't want to get a fry and a worm mixed up.

It's about 1mm long. I'm staring at it... and it looks almost segmented but at the same time there is a mass/body at one end.

I'm wondering if fry are defintely recognizable as fish, or if they do look like a small brown worm.

Ok, well it definitely doesn't look like that at all. In fact it's body looks segmented now that I look at it under a bright light. It's bigger than 1mm.. perhaps 2-3.

It's wiggling at the waters surface and doesn't stop wiggling. I'm pretty sure it's some sort of worm. It's definitely brown, looks segmented (however it's too small to even conclude that).

I'm actually a little creeped out by it now. I'm going to have a nightmare I just know it. blink.gif

Thanks Jess for the link. I freaked out there for a second. hehe rofl3.gif
