Do you have a neon light or somthing? Cause it seems like you're tank is glowing! Lol It's the coolest betta tank I've seen so far!

Hi Nykole,
Thanks for sharing the pictures of your bettas and the tank. Leon and Azule look great. Poor little Choc, though, he really is in bad shape isn't he?
It is apparent that he hasn't been eating. The poor, wee thing. I wish we could figure out something to help him

Your tank is absolutely gorgeous.
I hope that Choc is feeling better soon
Leon and Azule are both beautiful. Azule reminds me of Death Head

Beautiful fish!!
Do you want the lower case "o"?
Alt + 162 = ó
Alt + 149 = ò

Hey, your tank looks great! I always tend to stay away from lots of vibrant colors in the fish tank, and I don't know if it's the colors of your fish or what, but it definitely looks awesome! I thought about that type of tank, but I wasn't real sure... Do they seem to have enough swimming room, how is it for actual water changes etc.? Choc sure is tiny! They are allvery pretty fish though.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the compliments. And the well wishes for Choc but hes not any better.....

Any ideas on what else to try??
Devs,
I usually stay away from bright and vibrant colors too but I was getting kind of bored with the natual look in my GF tank so I decided to spruce it up a little. I tank is a regular 5 acrylic and a 10 gallon divider cut to fit. As for changes I do a 50% change every week and sometimes 100% if it starts looking cloudy. It isnt cycled but it does have a filter.
Celebr8,
Its just a normal tank light. I think the neon colors make it look to bright, also the kitchen lights were dimmed(and it was night) so the picture would show better colors.

I would hazard to guess that he may be suffering from an internal problem, maybe bacterial. Have you tried Maracyn 2 on him?
Nykole
Apr 14 2004, 01:06 PM
No I didnt try Maracyn 2 but a different antibiotic that cured my Moors internal bacteria infection. I would have bought Maracyn 2 but the LPS was out. The one I tried was Triple Sulfa by Aquarium Pharmaceuticals.

Thanks for the warning Dev - BTW it does sound as though you are out of control but it's not the same as buying six goldfish and needing 60 extra gallons. I'm currently trying to figure out where to put them without buying more tanks - can you get a heater for a 2.5g tank?
