I just got some aquarium salt by aquarium pharmaceuticals and I was wondering how much to add to my 5.5 gallon betta tank and my 2.5 gallon betta tank. It says it reduces stress and helps gill function so I figured i'd try it in their tanks. P.S I aslo got an aquaclear mini for poseidon's 5.5 gallon tank so I'm sure hes very happy. Plus brine shrimp and bloodworms. Spoild fish <_<

speaking of betta, my betta jus died last weekend.. sad.gif

anyway, for betta, add salt very moderately.. using teaspoon.. adding half teaspoon every 30 mins.. achieving a 1 teaspoon per gallon mixture is sufficient for maintenance..
