I want my gold and black mystery snails to mate!!! i have had them for a day now... how long does it take for them to actually mate and can they even mate with one another??? thanks

and can someone give me a list of ALL the foods goldand black mystery snails can eat?

First ill start with the foods,then go on to the mateing ect ect.
Here is a small list of foods that snails can eat.
but im sure there is alot more:

Snails are plant eaters,and eat lots of vegetaion.
Most people think they only need algea,but this is just a very
small precent of there diet.(They would like something else....it is not there favorite types of food)
Left over fish food =Fish flakes,fish pellets.
They would love Brine shrimp,Any frozen foods and even dead insects and dead fish.
If seen with my snail "Albert" he loves eating peas.They
love lettuce as well.
Some snails will actually eat other snails,like the Pomacea snail
ate appel snail.
There is alot more types of foods aswell.Usally they will like fruits
and almost any veggies.And greens.

snails mate and have more snails!
First of all you have to know their sexes? male or female
then if you have both of the same sexe,you would most probly
have to get another one if you want them to mate.
Female snails can store active sperm for months and weeks
so you can always expect baby snails any time lol.

If you don't know how to tell the sexes from each other
Ill tell you how:

take the snail out of the water and tip it on it;s back.Eventually
the snail will come out.Then look to the upper part of the
mantle cavity.
(Ill attach a picture of a male apple snail so you can see
the diffrences.)
