Woke up this morning and found a pinprick size dot of red (bloodspot?) on Oscars Head. I immediately did a 20 percent water change and added salt to the water - just in case.

PH and everything is normal. Fed Oscar and she ate peas, so the appetite is still there.

Oscar has another pinprick size dot of red on his stomach that has been there for a long time, and hasn't caused any harm.

Any ideas what it is?

Peachescat.....I will be watching your replies closely....as my Oranda has the same pinprick on her cheak. It too has been there for a while causing no obvious problems....but I'm curious!

Is there anything sharp that may have poked them? Any
chance of a pic?

I don't have a camera... And there is nothing in my tank that could have poked him.
